As part of its mission as a community hospital, SMH staffs a professional Parenting Center as a resource to educate and support parents to raise their children in emotionally healthy ways. Our vision is to strengthen families by nurturing confidence and enhancing parenting skills.
From grooming your toddler's language and fine-motor skills to productive discipline to helping communicate with your teenager, our knowledgeable staff provides an interactive, nurturing environment that encourages parents on the difficult and rewarding journey that is raising a child. Our professional staff and subject matter experts are dedicated to providing guidance and knowledge to support parents in raising our community's next generation of adults.

"As parents, we have the most important job in the world. There is nothing we do in our lifetimes that is more significant than how we raise our children.”
