Slidell Memorial Hospital (SMH) and the Fit as a Firefighter Program will offer Trim Kids, a program aimed at fostering self-esteem and teaching nutrition and exercise skills to local overweight children, beginning June 2. The 10-session program provides a fun way for children to learn lifelong strategies that encourage healthy living. |
