Community Health Needs Assessment
We are committed to meeting the health needs of our community.
Every three years, Slidell Memorial Hospital takes part in a regional study to address the needs of our community as required by a federal statute established within the Affordable Care Act.
Several hospitals in the New Orleans metropolitan area, including SMH, are members of the Metropolitan Hospital Council that undertook this extensive community project. SMH worked closely with Tripp Umbach, which provided project management and consultation services.
