SMH June Employees of the Month
Congratulations to the June Employee of the Month recipients Cynthia Valentine, Mindi Roger and Valarie Smith.
Leader Recipient: Cynthia Valentine, RN Operations Coordinator in the Recovery Room
Cynthia accepted a charge role during a challenging time. She volunteers to take more call whenever it is needed, and she is willing to change her schedule to help her team out. Cynthia serves as a preceptor, performs QAPI audits and is continuously looking for ways to improve her unit operations and patient care.
Clinical Recipient: Mindi Roger, Radiologic Technologist in Inpatient Radiology
Mindi connects with patients, family members and her team by demonstrating compassion and providing quality work. She is committed to personal development and has completed the preceptor academy so that she can help mentor and train new employees. Mindi strives for perfection and goes over and beyond to ensure the needs of the patients and departments are met.
Non-clinical Recipient: Valerie Smith, Patient Access Representative
Valarie has received 76 WOWs from patients since January 2023 which is evidence to her exceptional customer service. She greets everyone with a smile and ensure each patient gets the best service. She will even walk or transport patients to their prospective test area. Valerie has been with SMH for over 32 years and sees each patient as a customer and understands the importance of providing them exceptional service so they will want to return.
