Telemetry Monitor Technician Program

The Telemetry Monitor Technician Program offers a sequence of three classes which provides specific training in Electrocardiograph theory and techniques. Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to acquire the knowledge and skills essential for identification of basic arrhythmias. It is simple and easy to follow with example ECG tracings. The course starts with an overview of the anatomy and physiology of the heart, its conduction system, waves, intervals, segments, and complexes. You will practice analyzing rhythm strips from sinus arrhythmias, atrial arrhythmias, AV Junctional arrhythmias, AV Block, Ventricular arrhythmias, and pacemaker rhythms. You will also learn to recognize ECG changes on a 12 lead.
