Heart disease describes a range of conditions that affect the heart. Heart diseases include:
- Blood vessel disease, such as coronary artery disease
- Irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias)
- Heart problems you're born with (congenital heart defects)
- Disease of the heart muscle
- Heart valve disease

Dr. Michael Finn
Dr. Michael Finn specializes in cardiology and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his residency in 1974 and has been on staff at Ochsner since July 2020. He currently works at the John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute - Slidell
