Slidell Memorial Hospital Seeks Qualifications for Construction Manager for 1850 Gause Blvd. Renovation
Notice is hereby given that St. Tammany Parish Hospital Service District No.2, d/b/s Slidell Memorial Hospital, a political subdivision of the State of Louisiana, pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. Ann. §46:1051, (“SMH”) is hereby soliciting Qualifications Statements from qualified and licensed general contractors to provide comprehensive pre-construction and construction management at-risk services for the renovation and construction of SMH 's 1850 Gause Boulevard building.
Qualifications Statements will be evaluated by the SMH CMAR Committee based upon the following criteria:
Firm Background
Safety Record
Relevant Project Experience
CMAR / Alternative Delivery Project Experience
Methodology / Schedule
Staffing
Interview/Presentation (If requested by SMH)
The official Request for Qualifications Packet, along with preliminary plans (30%), and other documents are available in electronic form and may be obtained from the SMH architect, Grace Design Studios, LLC, beginning at 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 by contacting Justin Aubert via email at jaubert@grace-design.com,or in writing at 601 Poydras St. Ste 3210, New Orleans, LA 70130.
A mandatory pre-submission project meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at 1850 Gause Boulevard, first floor, Slidell, LA 70461, or via zoom. Grace Design Studios, LLC will provide conference call information to interested firms. Interested firms must attend the pre-submission project meeting or participate via zoom to submit a qualifications statement to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Firms will be provided access to the project site following the meeting.
Sealed Qualifications Statements must be received at the Materials Management building at 1025 Florida Ave., Slidell, LA 70458. before 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 2, 2026 (the “Submission Deadline”). Any Qualifications Statements received after the Submission Deadline will not be considered.SMH reserves the right to reject any or all Qualifications Statements for just cause.
Interested firms must maintain a current contractor license with the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors for the major classification of Building Construction and certify that they are licensed contractors under Chapter 24 of Title 37 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
