Erin Vaughn, MD
Dr. Erin Vaughn graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences School of Medicine in 2008. After completing a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital, she returned to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she was an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and co-course director for the College of Medicine's Principles of Medicine course. In 2015, Dr. Vaughn and her family moved to Slidell. She served as a primary care physician at St. Tammany Community Health Center until joining the SMH Physician's Network in 2017.
Dr. Vaughn is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. As Med/Peds doctor, she is specially trained to provide primary care to children and adults. She speaks fluent Portuguese and conversational Spanish. She has a special interest in enhancing her patients' lives through improving nutrition, exercise and health literacy.
