As a 182-bed acute care community hospital located in the heart of Slidell, La., we provide access to the latest treatments and technology and expert physicians:

• 51 percent of all cancer procedures in the region are performed by our Cancer Services program. SMH broke ground on a new comprehensive cancer center in August 2009.

• Our orthopedic specialists are among only a handful in the region to offer anterior hipreplacement surgery using a new state-of-the-art hana^TMHip and Knee Arthroplasty Table, one of just 100 in use across the country.
